Ashton-in-Makerfield library is situated near the lights on Wigan Road just as you are entering Ashton-in-Makerfield. Although the picture tells a different story, the actual entrance for the library is down the right hands side of the building, which is the Wigan Road side. The road on the other side is Old Road and although the two separate in different directions, Old Road eventually finds itself finding Wigan Road again before ending.
